Why Wildlife Season?
Wildlife Season is when our destinations feel most alive. It’s a season defined by renewal, return, and movement—which makes it the perfect time to invite someone back.
How does the annual invitation work?
Once a year, during Wildlife Season, each Cayuga hotel invites one Aficionado member back for a three-night stay as our guest.
There’s nothing to track or earn. You simply stay connected, and once a year, someone is welcomed back.
What’s included in the three-night stay?
The invitation covers three complimentary nights in your room during Wildlife Season.
Your room rate is fully taken care of.
Food, drinks, tours, and transportation aren’t included, but as an Aficionado, you can still enjoy 15% off food and beverage throughout your stay.
Flights, transfers, and any optional experiences are arranged separately, just as they would be on any other visit.
When invitations go out, we’ll always be clear about the Wildlife Season travel dates and help you plan within that window.

Who is eligible for the annual invitation?
Every Cayuga Aficionado is eligible. Whether you’re visiting for the first time or returning again, being part of the program means you’re included.
When is Wildlife Season?
Wildlife Season generally runs from May through the end of November or early December, depending on the destination. It’s one of the most dynamic times to be here, with lush landscapes and heightened wildlife activity.
When invitations are sent, we’ll always confirm the exact travel window for your stay so you can plan with confidence.
How will I know if I’ve been invited?
We’ll contact you directly using the details you shared when you joined. It’s a message we enjoy sending—and one we hope you’ll enjoy receiving.
Can I choose which Cayuga hotel I return to?
When you’re invited, we’ll coordinate the details of your Wildlife Season stay with you. We take into account availability, your past stays, and where you’ve expressed interest in visiting next, with the aim of making the return feel considered and personal.
Can I give the invitation to someone else?
The invitation is intended for you. In some cases, there may be an option to share it under specific conditions. If that applies, we’ll explain it clearly at the time.
Can I join while I’m already staying at a Cayuga hotel?
Yes. Many guests join while they’re here. You can sign up at any point during your stay.
Does joining cost anything?
No. Cayuga Aficionados is complimentary.
